During these unprecedented and difficult times, we’ve taken extensive measures to ensure we’ve been able to remain open for business, prioritising the safety and well being of our people at all times.

Preparing for the phased return to work, we intend to continue to lead the way in prioritising safety, using best industry practice and Government guidelines. we are currently introducing more detailed measures to ensure safety is maintained and to support our employees.

Through innovations, using resource-efficient technologies and advanced engineering and production processes, we aim to steadily reduce pressure on people and the environment. It’s an ongoing process of improvement and development as a responsible UK-based employer and supplier to leading global brands.

As a leading supplier to the manufacturing sector and an established employer on the south coast, we recognise that we can make a positive impact for people, local communities and the wider world.

We operate a continuous process of improvement in every way we work – with our people, our customers, suppliers and the wider community. Supporting this is an ongoing programme of investment in facilities and improvements, all designed to make it easier to work with us, improve efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions.

• People: We actively work to encourage people into the sector and have a strong culture of people support through mentoring and investment in training and skills development programmes in conjunction with local education providers.

• Environmental: We aim to reduce waste at all times in big and small ways. This includes re-use and recycling of materials wherever practical. And, through our core engineering skill in lightweighting (helping make things such as medical robotics and aerospace fans lighter, so less energy is used), we help to reduce CO2 emissions. We also encourage all employees to use teleconferencing, instead of commuting, thereby reducing our environmental impact.

• Go local: Wherever possible, we employ people who live locally to our sites and use local suppliers for materials and business continuity essentials, such as PPE for our employees, stationery, signage and print, cleaning and maintenance services.
