Formaplex was approached by Ricard and Force Protection Europe to provide composite tooling and machining for the Ocelot Light Protected Patrol vehicle.

We supplied the original epoxy pattern tools to support production of the prototype composite crew pods and we carried out the machining and pod assembly.
Force Protection Europe was awarded the LPPV Foxhound contract to deliver a new breed of lightweight protected vehicle for the British Army. We were a key supplier for this project and invested over £1million in new equipment and facilities to deliver machined and assembled pods. During the project, we were also awarded the contract for full pod integration, setting up a complete assembly line for this purpose, delivering 400 pod modules.
